Renters must be 18 years old or older, and must provide proof of liability insurance meeting standard Texas auto minimums.

Only licensed drivers 18 years old and older may operate a Rick's Beach Rentals Golf Cart. If you allow underage or unlicensed drivers to operate our golf cart at any time, we will cancel your reservation and retrieve the cart. No refund. We just cannot overemphasize this requirement. Our insurance does not cover anyone under age 18. Before using your golf cart, please review the local Golf Cart Laws.

We do not accommodate hourly rentals. To rent by the day, please come by or call (409-632-0256).

In order to confirm your reservation, we do require full payment at time of reservation.

ALL reservation cancellations are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled within 72 hours of the requested delivery date are subject to a cancellation fee equal to half the total cost of the rental. Cancellations made due to hurricanes, tropical storms, or any other acts of God are subject to full refunds in the form of future rental credits. No cash refunds. NO EXCEPTIONS on any cancellation policies.

We accept all major credit cards (American Express, VISA, MasterCard, Discover) as well as cash. No checks.

We service, and deliver, to the 77554 zip code. This is Galveston west end, from Stella Mare RV Resort, to San Luis Pass (Pointe West). We do not service Galveston, east, of Stella Mare RV resort. Please DO NOT BOOK if there is a question on service area. We are happy to check your location, to insure you are in our service area, prior to booking. Bookings made for areas outside our service area, WILL NOT, be fulfilled. A $25.00 administration fee, WILL, be charged for bookings outside our delivery area, and refunds take 5 to 7 business days to process,(this can be longer in the peak season). There are no fees for Golf Cart deliveries. Beach toys only (without cart rental) will incur a $20.00 fee for delivery and pick up. *NOTE* the additional fee, for Treasure Island delivery, and or beach toy delivery, will be charged at time of delivery, not at booking. We strive to provide everyone with a great rental experience. However, sometimes things happen. If you are having trouble, or issues, PLEASE, call us ASAP. We will be more than happy to address the problem as quickly as possible. If you have problems after we close (5:00 PM), PLEASE, call and leave a message, and we will do all in our power to make it right when we return the following day. It is best, to just get the cart to the nearest, safe location, and lock it up. Take the key with you. While we can't guarantee you won't have issues, we can guarantee, we WILL, make it right! City ordinance as well as Rick’s Beach Rentals policy requires all individuals driving or riding as a passenger on golf carts must wear a seat belt at all times. Seat belt functionality on all carts is checked before delivery, and renters are required to immediately report any issues with seatbelts to our office and cease use of the golf cart until seat belts can be repaired or the cart replaced. Failure to do so is in violation of your rental agreement. I understand that I assume full responsibility for all individuals in my party to ensure safety regulations and seat belt requirements are adhered to at all times. I assume all liability for any injury or accident that may occur because of misuse or non-use of seatbelts while operating the golf cart. I understand that any malfunction of seat belts must be reported to Rick’s Beach Rentals immediately and the cart cannot be operated until the issue is resolved. I understand that Rick’s Beach Rentals waives any responsibility relating to unreported faulty seat belts and any accident or injury which may result thereof. Attention to seat belt use and seat belt functionality is fully my responsibility as the renter for the entirety of my golf cart rental period.
